After talking to a newly engaged couple yesterday about engagement sessions, I thought it would be helpful to blog about it:)

Things I love about engagement sessions:

*Getting to really know the couple: Before the session, we talk about what you enjoy doing together, places that have special meaning, how you met and fell in love. Every detail is important. The more I get to know you as a couple, the better I can reflect your personalities through my photography. 

*Chosing Unique locations for the shoot: It is so much fun getting to know my clients and finding a place that will reflect their personal styles. Whether it’s dancing, going to Barnes and Noble or taking long walks at the park, nothing is offlimits. This session will be whatever you want to make it.

*Documenting the love you have for eachother: My favorite part has to be seeing the love in your eyes, hearing the sweet words you say to eachother and being able to give you a photo that takes you back to that moment. Through photography, you can hold on to that memory forever. 

*Making friends: I love making friends throughout this process. I just like to have fun with my engagement sessions! Also, if I’m shooting your wedding, you will know what to expect from me since we have already worked together.
