“Kyle and I met working at a news station in Austin. We became friends pretty quickly and I knew almost immediately I would marry him some day. This was long before he knew my feelings for him. It really is unexplainable other than saying when you know, you know.  We became even closer friends when we both became single. Something that I love about our relationship is that our foundation is a friendship. Once our romantic feelings were revealed, we blossomed into a beautiful relationship. Several moves later we ended up in Dallas to be closer to family. We invited family over to see our new place. I knew something was up. The poor man has got his work cut out for him to surprise me. While I was suspicious I was distracted by my hostess duties. At the end of our “grand tour” Kyle nervously explained that we have amazing memories together and that he couldn’t wait to make many more with me. He then got down on one knee and popped the question. I was thrilled and still somehow in a bit of shock despite pretty much knowing it was going to happen. I was on cloud 9. He is my person and I GET to do life with him!!! I am so proud to now be his wife and we cannot wait to grow our family.”
