We Remember: 

-visiting the Kibera slum for the first time, looking at eachother with tears in our eyes as we saw such extreme poverty we never could have imagined, wanting to make a difference somehow.

-checking into the voyager beach hotel in Mombasa, when one of our pastors (Jon Haley) asked Brandon and Rachel if they (being engaged at the time) wanted to go ahead and get married in Kenya. Rachel said they had done so much planning and wanted to wait until their wedding date. 

-Snorkeling in the warm Indian oceans’ water finding the most beautiful starfish and filling up the glass bottom boat with every color and size imagineable.

-eating a raw freshly picked coconut, drinking its salty melon flavored milk and laughing at eachother trying to chug it down.

I have shared so many great memories of going to Kenya with this couple and we can’t wait until we all get to go back…

Now, the Adams’ are expecting Baby Charlie and we cant wait until he gets here in June! I’m so happy that I was able to photograph their maternity pictures:)
