I know this is long, but it’s something I feel very passionately about:
Forgetfulness is part of the human mind. Twenty years from now you might not remember how small your ring bearer was, how stunning you looked in your beautiful wedding gown with your hair perfectly pinned back, how proud your grandma looked as you walked down the isle or the look on your faces the first time you are announced as Mr. and Mrs ______. A picture is worth a thousand words… it can remind you of how in love you were on the most important day of your life.
Wedding Photography is one of the most important elements of the wedding day and I take my job as photographer very seriously. I also greatly enjoy being part of such a wonderful event. If you don’t care about all the details and emotions of the day, then maybe I’m not the photographer you’re looking for. I put my heart into my work and love being able to share it with my clients. I never give any photos or products that I would not be happy in receiving myself.
Some people ask, “Why is Wedding Photography so expensive”?
First, I take into consideration how long my second shooter and I will be shooting on your wedding day, but it doesn’t stop there. I don’t ever just shoot a wedding and hand over the pictures. There are literally thousands of pictures to go through with having two shooters.
Second, If you think that anyone can be a wedding photographer, it takes a lot of talent and investment. I have spent thousands of dollars on my cameras, computers and editing software, as well as spending countless hours learning to use my cameras and equipment. You can give someone a five thousand dollar camera and if they don’t know how to use it, the pictures will look terrible. Also, people would not continue to book weddings and photo shoots with me if they were unhappy with my work.
Lastly, Wedding Photography is an investment. If you’ve spent so much on the beautiful dress, the perfect venue and that band that you had to have, why would you not invest in creating photos to remember them by in the years to come? Everything else is over after your wedding, (you probably wont be wearing your dress again, everything will be packed up, the band will go home) but you will keep your pictures forever.
