A Bride, A Texas Vinyard & Missing Keys

I had the pleasure of shooting Fawn’s bridal portraits the other day. The weather was hot, but there was at least a slight breeze blowing. Fawn looked absolutely stunning in her designer wedding gown. The golden light of the late evening sun made everything especially beautiful. I really enjoyed getting to know Fawn and her mother better. They requested that I took a few pics of Fawn looking up into the sky. I found out that they had lost a brother and a son and release balloons periodically with pics of themselves tied to the strings in remembrance. I think that is a beautiful symbol of their love. I am so excited for Fawn in her upcoming marriage to the talented Mr. Nic. I hope that they have a wonderful life together full of love and making good memories! Anyways, the bridal portrait session went perfectly. Afterwards, however, David and I discovered that our keys were locked in the car (never had that happen at a photo shoot before) and we had to have my brother in law come to pic us up because my spare was at our place. He didn’t get there a moment too soon, because as the sun was setting, the mosquitos started biting and we were being eaten alive. Thanks Josh for saving us:) I finally got back to my camaro the next evening. All that to say, life’s an adventure. Find joy in the little moments and make good friends!
