I just wanted to blog about my puppy Samson:) He is an eleven month old Rhodesian Ridgeback and loves to take long walks at the park, laying in front of a warm fire at night and playing with other dogs. The only problem is every other dog around here is much smaller and wants to run and hide from him. 

He is such a good companion and makes me laugh all the time. As I am writing this, he is running back and forth across the living room tossing his new squeaky toy in the air and catching it! 

This week has been a lot of fun… David and I have been teaching him to play dead. We started by saying “dead!” making him lay down on his side and giving him a treat. He is a very quick learner because now I tell him to sit and he immediately plays dead and looks at me with the biggest pleading eyes. David says that I must have abused him or something, but he is just a very motivated pup.
