How did you know that Tim was the one for you?

I knew Tim was the one for me when we went on our first date and we waited two hours for a table and it felt like only a few minutes because we had such great conversation and I already felt like I was talking to my best friend.

What made you choose your venue? Did it have any special significance to you?

We choose Aristide because we wanted something elegant and whimsical. We looked at several venues around North Texas that were beautiful but we knew they just weren’t our style. When we found Aristide we were in love when we walked through the door and saw all the little details, grandeur, and water features. It was amazing!

How did you choose your wedding decorations, colors etc (source of inspiration)? Everything was gorgeous!

We choose our wedding colors by thinking about the time of year we would be getting married and what might look good at our venue. With it being October we thought different shades of purple would be a great fit and bring depth. I also love anything that sparkles so I wanted that elegant sparkle and bling carried throughout the wedding from my dress to our reception and wedding cake.

What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day?

My most memorable moment on our wedding day was when I walked down the aisle and as soon as I saw my husband to be I got so emotional and cried the rest of the way and during our vows. I’m usually not a person who cries but I was so emotional when it came to marrying the love of my life that it was overwhelming in the best way possible. For Tim, his most memorable moment was when we said “I do” and when all the dreaming and planning of being married and husband and wife came to fruition.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about your wedding?

It was very important to us to make our wedding extra special for not only ourselves and our family but for our guests. All of our guests had to travel for our wedding, whether it was a couple hours or half way across the country from California and Florida where we are both from. So we really wanted to make sure we made this an extra special night for everyone involved and I definitely think we achieved that and have received so many compliments on how elegant, beautiful and fun it was!
