I’ve been thinking a lot lately about why I like being a photographer. Here are my top 20 reasons:
1. Early morning sessions
2. Joyful brides
3. loving grooms
4. Telling precious stories
5. Forehead kisses
6. Tender glances
7. Lots of Laughing
9. Being in nature
10. How the light filters through trees
11. Watching others re-live a touching moment when they see a photo that I have taken
12. Showing beauty
13. Hearing a groom say that they can’t help but cry when he sees his bride for the first time on their wedding day because she’s so beautiful.
14. Having a bride say, “Oh my God!!! I never knew I was so beautiful.” when she sees her bridal portraits.
15. The opportunity to be creative
16. Feeling honored to be chosen to photograph special occasions
17. Having my couples call me to come take their newborn babys’ first portraits
18. Making new friends
19. Meeting amazing people
20. Documenting Love
