June and Carlos White Rock Lake Engagements is perfect for them because it is where they met. They both went to the same school and were both mechanical engineering students, but hadn’t officially met until that summer. June says that she knew that Carlos was the one for her, ” because not only are we similar in most aspects, he also complements me in ways I never knew I needed. He is smart, selfless, compassionate, and ambitious – all things I look for in a partner that will work to grow our future together. And most importantly, I love the way he loves me. He makes me happy, he’s always there for me, and makes me feel safe, loved, and respected.”
I love to hear their story from Carlos, “Our first 6 months of dating were the most fun I have had in my entire life up to that point. Whether we were taking a quick road trip to San Antonio, Texas, having an impromptu snowball fight in Dallas on Christmas, or watching the Texas A&M University Aggies break SEC records, every day was a new adventure with June. I knew after that semester, I was addicted to her for life.
We met at an internship BBQ at White Rock Lake.
We chose the cafe Bisous-Bisous, because we both love to go to our local cafe by our apartment every Sunday for brunch (and we love macarons/baked goods!
We chose downtown Dallas because I worked in Dallas for a year and during that time, we spent a lot of weekends exploring downtown, going to the museums, farmers market, eating good for at Klyde Warren Park on food truck Saturday’s, stuff like that.
