David and I have the sweetest couples!!!! Curran and Jaylan were so fun to photograph during their engagement portraits at Trinity Park. I asked Jaylan to share about how they got engaged. Check out their sweet love story:

Curran and I are both from the same hometown. We had become really good friends in high school, but it wasn’t until my junior year and his senior year that we started dating. I knew right away that our relationship was something special. Curran attended Sam Houston University while I attended Texas A&M University. It was during this time of long distance dating that I knew I wanted to marry him because I hated saying good bye. On September 4, 2015, Curran and I were supposed to be celebrating our 5 year dating anniversary. Little did I know, he had a much bigger surprise. He took me to Lake Ray Hubbard  in Rockwall for a sunset sailboat ride. While we were on the boat, a “secret” photographer asked to take our picture. During this time Curran got on one knee and asked me to marry him. He had hired a photographer to capture the moment he proposed. It was one of the happiest days for us both!
