This New Years Eve, David and I decided that we would get out in the country to clear our heads and enjoy some fresh air. Our friend Rickie invited us to come to the ranch that he works at. When we arrived, he had set up targets at a shooting range and we got to practiced shooting his .25-06 rifle. It was fun:) I have to admit, I was a little scared at first (partly because I haven’t shot a gun since summer camp in high school and partly because I’m afraid of getting hit in the face if the gun kicks) but Rickie showed me what to do, and we had a really good time:) Afterwards, we drove and hiked around. We had a nice quiet walk and got to see a huge flock of turkeys. Here are a few shots that I took from the day:
