I am looking forward to change: not only for relief from the stifling heat, but with being out of school I am looking forward to focusing more on photojournalism (telling stories through my photos) and developing my video skills. My true passion is helping others to see something from my point of view and affecting them emotionally through the media I create.
I love my portrait sessions: documenting beautiful couples and families and being able to give them photos they can treasure:) One of my favorite things is giving a couple their wedding photos and watching them laugh and cry as they see each picture remembering the details of their special day. I had one bride say, “Look, I really was happy on my wedding day. It went by so fast that I couldn’t remember. Thank you for helping me to remember!”
It has also been so fulfilling to to go on missions trips and document them through photography, videos and blogging. I love coming back and having people tell me that they felt as if they were in Kenya with us the whole time… waiting every evening to read another blog post and see the pics on facebook. I could do this forever:)
I don’t know what the future holds, but I know that I have found something through photography that satisfies my need to be creative and I am really looking forward to seeing what God brings into my life.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
