As soon as we got to
Hallmark Baptist Church, it started pouring… a slow and steady rain that would last for the remainder of the day. Everything was ok because the bride, groom and guest were full of joy and anticipation for the wedding that was about to take place inside.
Rain brings water to dry places, and causes crops to flourish. Rain symbolizes blessings, cleansing, unity, and a new day. With that in mind, it is often believed that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck.
The wedding decor was bright and sunny. The cheerful buttery yellow of the flowers, flower girls dresses and browns of the bridesmaids dresses, groomsmen’s suites and boots perfectly accented each other. The ceremony was beautiful as the couple said their I Do’s and happily made their grand exit. The ambient lights across the reception area made the party feel warm and cozy. My favorite addition to the reception was the homemade Dr Pepper ice cream! There were several other flavors as well. This truly was a wonderful day.
Greg and Meredith, David and I wish you the very best!
XOXO,
Kim
